Yes, Jenna Lucado was very inspiring. She told us that we have a Father in Heaven who loves and cares for us no matter what, and we can call on Him when ever and where ever we are. Chad told us that a girl's brain is like spaghetti, because we multi-task and can talk about 5 things at once and still know what's going on. Then, a guy's brain is like a waffle, it's compartmentalized (can't multi-task too well) and when girls talk to guys they have to remember to talk slowly and stay one subject because guys can't digest a lot of information all at once. I had a blast at the Revolve Tour, and I want to bring all my friends. ^_^

When I first heard about what those girls had did, I was horrified! The worst part was that it all started over MySpace drama, and that raises an interesting question. Is technology an instigator of increased violence or is it merely a new tool that expresses what is already in existance? What do you think?

I would have to agree with you. I find it harder than ever to get my homework done. It used to be just solitaire distracting me, than AIM and now Facebook also competes for my attention. My mom used to call my brother and I "hot house children" because we spent so much time inside, compared to when she was a kid and played outside all day everyday (plus, she had to walk to and from school 15 miles, uphill both ways). Especially in this area, we are very impatient, and want everything done instantly (ah, the beauty of blogging - instant publication). If a website takes more than a few seconds to load, I find myself clicking it over and over and over, which does nothing but make it slower. As more and more technologies emerge, as a society we are just going to get more used to the connivances and become lazier and more impatient.

I was so excited when I saw this was posted! I've been cheering since the second grade, and specially in my junior and senior years of high school I've seen some awesome football games, even the semi-finals game between the Colts and the Patriots in 2007 was pretty intense. However, this game topped them all! I was screaming like crazy, my whole dorm heard me. The play where Manning escaped the sack and Tyree caught it with his helmet was unebelieve, I couldn't wait to check it out the next day on YouTube. I couldn't have been happier to have this team that I consider to be from North Jersey win (The Meadowlands, home of Giant's Stadium, is 25 minutes from my house, pending traffic) win while I'm down here in South Jersey.

I am really into the idea of netvibes! This was the first thing we did that I instantly liked... over spring break I used it to check my emails, and now I have links to all of my favorite bands to see if they have any updates. It's a really interesting idea, the only problem is I have not yet perfected the ability to describe it to my friends, most still have no idea what I am talking about.

At first, I was very reluctant about blogging, but by the end I began to appreciate it. Honestly, it was so much easier for me to just post my thoughts instead of running to the lab and hoping that there would be a free computer to print my paper before class. Also, I felt I could have a very relaxed tone, so I was very comfortable writing and expressing my ideas.

I could not disagree with you more. I too used Diigolet, and had no problems with that. However, I just found the process very tedious, and found my fingers craving my fluorescent green highlighter. I made the bare minimum of comments, and had to try very hard not to throw my computer away in frustration. I can see why some people would like it, but I prefer to read from paper, and normally print all the articles out anyway, so the fact that I had to do my reading on the monitor was bothering me from the start. When it comes down to it, it’s a matter of preference, and I definitely would not pick Diigo over the old fashion way.

Yea I don't understand that culture much. But I'm sure thats because we live so differently, or may I saw they do. I could never imagine my life without technology. I think I am on the same track as you!
